Cards again...Peggy wins!

Charlie and Mary Lou have moved to a new place down the street, but we picked Charlie up for cards. Bob and Helen had already arranged for Peggy to play Euchre, so Phil played Kings-in-the-Corner with Mom, Peggy and me!

Phil helped Mom with her cards and I helped Peggy.

We are so thrilled to have Peggy, another resident who has aphasia (like Mom), playing Kings-in-the-Corner with us these days. Here's a movie of Peggy winning and Mom encouraging her.

Today when I stopped by to see Mom and we ran into Liz.

Liz was telling me how she and Mom had a blast last night dancing with some of the (wonderful) young men who serve in the dining room. I told them I HAD to get a demo of that on video!

The last outdoor concert of the Summer of '09
