Chuck's Visit March 2010

My brother, Chuck, came to visit to help with Mom's taxes and business stuff. (Halleluia!) He had dinner with Mom and me and her friend and neighbor, Erna.

He helped Mom get a new jigsaw puzzle started:

We celebrated his March 17th birthday with a steak dinner at our house.

He and Mom went to church with us.

It was so nice to see him. Mom thought he should stay longer!

Mrs. Whiskers Vet Visit

Mrs. Whiskers had a check up today with Mary Oxley-Ealing, DVM at VCA Village Park Animal Hospital in Carmel.

She has a very healthy heart and is caught up on her vaccines!

Mom's little buddy had fun getting out but was ready to go home.

At Summer Trace nurse, Yvonne, brought her puppies and children by for a visit.

Mom enjoyed meeting everyone immensely.

Yvonne has been a very good friend to Mom.

St. Patrick's Day Cards in Health Care with Ralph

Our friend, Ralph, who is in the Health Care section of Summer Trace, wants to get a card group going over there. So we went over to help on St. Patrick's Day. Ralph's daughter, Jill, (a friend from church) and his grandchildren joined us - such a treat for all of us! And speaking of "treats" Mom got to share the Milk Bone treats she keeps in her bag with a few visiting pups.

Mega Aphasia Meeting

What a fantastic evening! Thank you Mary Gospel! The Butler speech students did evaluations. Mom got to work with Elizabeth Stoner and Ashley Cofield who had helped out at the knitting group at Summer Trace recently.

When Mom answered the question, "Why are you in this Aphasia Group?" She said, "It's the learning experience." (Click arrow to watch video below) She had a GREAT time!
